FUENTES DE LIBERTAD Y OPRESION

About

the "Professional" I.

Today, I leverage my career experience and subject matter(s) expertise in and outside the classroom. I serve as the Assistant Professor of Ethnic Studies at Ventura College and invite local readers to take one of my course.

I have 15 years in project management, team management, curriculum management, and program management, in addition to designing and scaling programs. I am a nine time research grant recipient by institutions funding research on diversity and belonging in the U.S. Academically trained in interdisciplinary knowledge production, system thinking, research design, statistics, survey development, mixed-method data collection, assessment and analytics, and various teaching pedagogies that intersect with equity, inclusion, and diverse learners.

I received my Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in their landmark department of Chicana and Chicano Studies.

RELATIONSHIPS DRIVE my work

By investing in partnerships and collaborations, I aim to open doors and build bridges to promote the movement of cultures, resources, and possibilities for a truly integrative future where every person can thrive and experience safe spaces.

COMMITTED TO Academic rigor and the HIGHEST LEVELS OF intellectual SERVICE

This digital collection is the sole effort and creation of myself that grew out of a response to have a centralized repository for all the concepts I use in my college courses. Words are accessible via search engine results but, as you may or may not have noticed, access to the full list of words is by invite only. Nonetheless, I have dedicated generous time - yet never enough - to ensuring primary and secondary sources form the basis for introducing entries in this compact encyclopedia.
